FAQ

  • What is Nutritional Therapy? How is it different than seeing a nutritionist?

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), I assess your symptoms, history, and lifestyle to uncover imbalances and create a personalized plan that supports your body's natural ability to support healing. This process includes nutrition, but also explores habits like sleep, stress, movement, and mindset. Rather than focusing only on calories or isolated nutrients, it looks at how different systems in the body—like digestion, blood sugar regulation, and stress response—work together to influence your overall health.

  • Do you focus on any specific dietary styles (e.g., paleo, vegan, keto)?

Because your body is uniquely yours, the way you thrive nutritionally won’t look the same as it does for someone else. There’s no one “right” dietary style—just the one that works best for you. Together, we’ll explore and identify the foods that truly support your body, energy, and overall well-being.

  • Will I have to give up my favorite foods?

I don’t believe in strict restriction or labeling foods as “off-limits.” There’s always a time and place to enjoy the foods you love. While there may be times when we need to temporarily remove certain triggers to deeply support healing, this is simply a tool—not a long-term lifestyle.

My approach is centered on nourishment—focusing on what we can add to your plate to support your body, not what we need to take away. It’s about creating balance, not perfection.

  • Can I work with you if I have a medical condition?

Yes—many of my clients come to me with existing medical conditions. As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I do not diagnose or treat disease, but I can support your body through foundational nutrition and lifestyle strategies that work alongside your medical care.

If you are under the care of another healthcare provider, it is important to notify them of any nutritional changes or supplements. Nutritional therapy may impact your health or medication needs, so please keep your physician informed.

  • Are sessions virtual or in-person?

All sessions are currently held virtually. This allows us to work together from anywhere, offering flexibility and comfort while still providing personalized, high-quality support.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I understand that investing in your health is a big step, and I want to make it as accessible as possible. Monthly payment plans are available- just be sure to mention this during our consultation call! If you do decide to pay in full, you will receive 5% off your package.
